Ray continues to challenge the status quo and has predicted many industry turning points. Ray was the first to discuss that a mega copier dealer would be purchased by either Office Depot or Staples. Around 6 months later Staples bought DEX Imaging. In 2017 at the Zhuhai RT Media summit, Ray predicted that HP would buy Xerox. It does appear he was on to something and at that time no one in the audience could comprehend his thoughts. However, we all witnessed the HP Xerox saga in 2019. In 2018 started the A4 Revolution and was adamant that millions of A3 units were over-sold and that end-users would begin recognizing the benefits of A4 and a vast majority of current A3 walk up devices would be replaced.
