Diamond Family Respond

Art Diamond’s wife, Diane, son, Glenn, and daughter, Eve, have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of kind and generous sentiments over the passing of their dearest husband and father.

They have asked RT Media to share this message of thanks:

“On behalf of the Diamond family I would like to express our humble and sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.  Thanks to the editors, contributors, and readers of Recycling Times magazine we’ve seen how our loss has been shared by many wonderful people around the world.  We have received emails from people we didn’t know but who described Art as a close friend or mentor, or used a similar term of respect and affection.  To all of you, our heartfelt thanks.

“In addition to being an accomplished chemical engineer, author, speaker, inventor, and industry leader, there are countless other extraordinary attributes that collectively spell “wonderful father and husband”.  As his son, I can certainly attest to the former.  Nobody could hope for a better father.  He was loving, kind, generous, understanding, and inspirational.  He taught my sister and I what every child needs to know, and he inspired both of us to excel in our personal and professional lives.  He was with us to celebrate during good times and to give us advice, hope, and support during the bad times.

“As with all the cherished loved ones who have gone before us, they are kept alive through the gifts they leave in our hearts, our memories, and the world.   Art Diamond was an exceptional man who lives on in all three of those places.
