Canon Middle East Applauded For Best Environmental Practices

According to zawya.com, Canon Middle East was acknowledged for ‘Best Environmental Practices in the Arab World’ by the Arab Organization for Social Responsibility. The company said it was the only private sector organization recognized for its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Canon was awarded a ‘Certificate of Excellence’ as well, applauding for its contribution to social development and environment protection.

As was revealed, in 2012 and 2013, Canon Middle East was awarded the Dubai Chamber CSR Label. Also in 2013, the company was recertified to ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard.
