Ninestar Completes Stage 1 of New Hi-tech Printer Factory

The last bucket of concrete was poured and successfully topped off on July 10, 2020, to commemorate the completion of the first stage of Building F1 of Ninestar’s new printer manufacturing base.

Situated at Gaolan Port in Zhuhai, the project has been underway since first being announced on April 9, 2018. At that time, Ninestar announced it had signed an agreement with Administrative Committee of Gaolan Port Economic Zone to start the project of High-Tech Equipment and Intelligent Manufacturing of Laser Printers in Zhuhai.

The total investment cost of the project is US$1.4 billion and construction of the first phase project commenced in April 2019.

The completed F1 building is one of the printer production workshops with a construction area of 56,000 square meters. The first phase project occupies a total area of 600,000 square meters and it is expected the total annual output will be 2 million printer units.

Mr Yan Wei (pictured on the right in the foreground), the President of Ninestar Corporation, said, “The completion of F1 building is a milestone of Ninestar’s printer manufacturing base construction. I believe the new manufacturing base will greatly enhance Ninestar’s production capacity.”

He added, “This year, although the virus has affected pockets of business, travel and life in unexpected ways, we’re encouraged and excited to learn Ninestar’s printer business is bucking the trend. We look forward to the early completion of the whole project!”
