Buyers Trapped with Fake HYB Toners

A buyer of toners, parts and consumables in Warsaw, Poland has complained to HK HaoYinBao Group (HYB) about the quality of its toner products.

The dealer claimed it bought the toners from a Chinese trading company, who allegedly said their products are made by HYB. After the communication with the customer, HYB’s sales professionals immediately realized this trading company was using HYB’s brand name to sell their own low-end and low-yielding toner.

The trading company has allegedly sold counterfeit HYB toners.

“Most importantly,” said Kim Lee, HYB’s Overseas Sales Director, “The fake toners damaged the developer unit in a customer’s Xerox printer that resulted in a high-cost repair bill for the customer.”

The allegedly fake toners had “Made by HYB” markings on the compatible toner 006R01701, 006R01702, 006R01703, 006R01704 for Xerox Altalink C8030.

HYB technical professionals have shown the dealer how to resolve their quality issues resulting in them ordering directly from HYB ever since.

HYB’s legal team are working with authorities to investigate the incident including the publication of articles announcing incorrect product sources related to HYB. HYB is considering action against this trading company for the loss of reputation and damages.

“We urge our customers to order from our authorized distributors in E.U.,” said Lee. “HYB products should be ordered directly from HYB sales professionals to avoid misleading information and faulty products.”

Lee explained products distributed in the E.U. should come with HYB logos, holograms, batch numbers that are linked with the HYB quality system. Zeus Toner and HYB Toner are both the trademarks owned by HK HaoYinBao Group and any parties who quote and use our brand names for marketing purpose should be authorized.

“We reserve the right to take legal action against any and all companies that wrongly use our names,” Lee said.

HYB’s products have earned great popularity among 150 importers in the European Union and U.K. Lee urges customers looking for stock immediately, to contact the authorised distributors in Italy and Lithuania.
