BIXOLON Launches XT6-40 Industrial Label Printer Series

BIXOLON Co., Ltd. has introduced the XT6-40 series, a new line of 4-inch industrial label printers designed for manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and retail applications.

The XT6-40 series includes three models with different print resolutions and speeds: the XT6-40 prints at up to 14 inches per second (ips) at 203 dpi, the XT6-43 at up to 12 ips at 300 dpi, and the XT6-46 at up to 5 ips at 600 dpi. The printers also support high-volume media handling, with optional RFID encoding and printing available on the XT6-40NR model.

The series features a flat, right-angle design intended for integration into industrial workspaces. Depending on the model, users can choose between a 3.5-inch color TFT LCD or a 5-inch color touchscreen display. Additional features include eight-level printhead pressure control, tool-free ribbon tension adjustment, and optional media and ribbon near-end sensors to help reduce production interruptions.

BIXOLON said the printers are equipped with up to 1 GB of SDRAM and 1 GB of flash memory to support large print jobs and complex data processing. Internal and external rewinder options are also available to accommodate different labeling workflows.

According to John Kim, Marketing Director at BIXOLON, the XT6-40 series was developed to provide durable, precise, and easy-to-use printing solutions for industrial environments.

The XT6-40 series is currently available for order in regions served by BIXOLON’s headquarters. Availability through the company’s American and European sales regions is expected in early 2027.
